New Feature: Add Known Contacts

Once we launched our MVP in March, one of the things we learned is that sometimes users ran into a situation where they paid for a connection credit to connect with someone, only to find out that person was already someone in their relief network. Of course, that’s not what we want! Users should not be charged to connect with someone they already have contact information for.

We brainstormed for a while on how to fix this, and today we are rolling out the solution: users are now able to add people to their Covered network by cell phone number, without using any connection credits. This can occur either during the registration process, or any time afterwards via your profile.
